So I guess it isn't true

Arthur B. Shostak, of Drexel University, and his team have completed a twenty year project examining the involvement of fathers in abortion cases.

Turns out the idea that Mr. Selfish who knocks up the impressionable young girl and leaves her isn't the dynamic at all. And, it turns out that something like 50% of men who got their girls friends pregnant out of wedlock proposed that the two marry and raise the kid.

And the idea that "he didn't accompany me and support me through the procedure" turns out to be this: only 23% of abortuaries will allow the man to do so. After all, it's a woman thing.

I'm tired of the feminist/progressive determination to make men the problem.

I've been watching a lot of shows on lions, or more specifically, lionesses, on tv. It's amazing to see these cats put their lives in danger by taking on a rival male lion who wants to kill their cubs. They will take on this monster killers to keep their young safe. I cannot help but contrast this to humans who are so cavalier about their own offspring.

Within the past two weeks we've heard of another story of someone (a father) who forgot his kid in the back seat of the car and the kid died from extreme temperatures in the car. WTH? I have never forgotten my GROCERIES in the car, let alone a dog. A KID? I understand preoccupation, but what the heck?

So, my point in all this is that something is seriously wrong with our parenting instinct. It's not just the females or the males - it's both because that's how God set it up - that the two should be INVOLVED.

We have reduced sexuality to a joke, so is it any wonder that the product of such a union would be considered disposable? I know I'm a bit off topic, but I hope that's okay.

I linked you on my blog. thanks for the post. I must agree, it amazes me that humans don't care to protect their offspring, and the smaller they are the more violence they endure. All I can say is satan has his grips on our society. Sex is nothing more than rubbing your body next to another (male, female or both, whatever floats your boat) God help us, but we will win in the end. Keep your eye on the beatific vision!
